Memorial Weekend Is Here

I think that with the longer then usual Winter we had here at the "Little House In The Woods" that this weekend is well deserved. With pleasant weather, and just relax in the yard, or Sun Rom, Go to the Parade.  Maybe BBQ for the 2 of us But, the meaning of Memorial Day Shall never change what is in our Hearts.
Memorial Day doesn't mean going to all these different sales saving money on items you just might not really need. There will be plenty of Sales Before & afterwards for all to shop at.
Memorial Day is a Day set aside for Our Fallen Soldiers, that gave their lives for their country, for you and I to have Freedoms' to do as we care to do.  These men and women paid the U;tomato Sacrifice, Yes it is True FREEDOM isn't FREE! ! ! !  Just ask anyone that has lost a Son, Daughter, Husband, Brother to war.  They chose their Choices and Sacrifices to Serve and Protect their country. So they did, and so some died for their Country.
It isn't a time to go from Bar to Bar getting drunk saying I'm celebrating Memorial Day, or even going to a BBQ or having one, serving all to the point oft even knowing what day it is.
It is a day I hold Deep with in my Heart for all of Out Fallen Heroes, For Our Gold Star Families, For the many Families I have written to sending my condolences to, as they shed tears, and are Broken Hearted for the loss of their child, loved one.  Every card that I have written has been truly from my dedication to these Soldiers and from my Heart.
Let's please Never Forget Memorial Day is a Day for the Memories of Our Fallen, May they Rest in Eternal Peace, Never to be Forgotten I'm not saying not to enjoy the weekend, I'm saying Remember Memorial Day and the true meaning of it.  Go to the shore, for it is the unofficial start of Summer, Shopping always have Saturday & Sunday to hit those Sales.  Enjoy and Remember The True Meaning!
