We left there went to Shop Rite, had to get the coleslaw I love so much that they make, then on to choose from some beautiful Jersey tomatoes, they were so red looking really great to me and to the customer standing next to me talking about the beauty of these tomatoes. we got the Diet Ginger Ale for me and then the St Louis Ribs, for Labor Day BBQ,, got some other odds and ends and headed home. we stopped at CHECKER'S ordered our luck brought it home, Mike had a cheeseburger, Fries, Apple Pie and drink $3.00 I had the delicious fish sandwich fries, apple pie and a coke. We took it home and ate there. We knew we didn't really want to go any where in the rain. Didn't do much else to do. For dinner we ordered from Samuel's Chinese Restaurant , I got the chicken noodle soup, I love their soup, Mike go the Shrimp fried rice, it was a quiet rainy night. Yes Sunday it rained also we went to the Christmas Tree Shop, I had to get Boxes of Birthday Cards and they have the very best. We BBQ dinner, had Turkey burger for me Hamburger for Mike, of course I a 1/2 of one of those delicious jersey tomatoes, ruby red inside and so sweet , they were so big that is why I only had 1/12. It cleared up the sub came out about 6:30p.m. so I took mike to Mass's and we got Gelatins, They had Mocoachino, I was shocked, so yes of course I had a large gelatin with Mocoachino and it was delicious. Mike had his usual the vanilla ice-cream sugar free with pine apple topping. It was a good week end
Finally Monday Labor Day Arrived, my son called he wanted to come over, . Turned out to be a very nice sunny Labor Day. St Louis Ribs, Knockwurst, Burgers, Turkey Burgers Coleslaw, Macaroni salad, pasta salad, and Sam brought a very good cake with buttercream icing, it was such a good day. I was so happy to see him.
