05/21 I Managed To Get My Hair Cut

I'm sorry I haven't posted lately. It's been rather hectic. This Month it is 7 years since the open heart surgery to replace the Aortic Heart Valve and put a Pacemaker in do the Thoracic Surgeon making a mistake and dropping a stitch causing my electrical system to stop working.
After that through the years I've had my pacemaker replaced about 4 or 5 times with one surgery cease the Cardiologist left behind the cable so 5 months later back into surgery to get that cable out.
Finally a few weeks ago I was sent to a Cardiologist that 6 years ago in writing said that the Aortic Heart Valve might be too small. Never went any further till I met with him.
This week was nothing but tests. The CT of the chest I didn't mind at all. The Echo of the heart piece of cake. But Then going down the hall into Nuclear Medicine, Well that didn't go very well at all. Putting the IV in my had went alright, then I laid down on a table to be slid into a strange looking machine that was going to be taking pictures. Then came the first injection of the isotopes nuclear med, tasted horrible made my head feel all swollen and allot of pressure on my chest, then about 45 minute after that I was injected with another chemical to make my heart go fast as if I was taking a stress test on the treadmill. It burnt my veins so badly very painful, my heart felt like it was going to beat so hard it was coming out of my chest. So I laid there more pictures to be taken. finally they are all done with the pictures, Take all the wires off of me and those horrible sticky tags, got me up I was a little dizzy got myself together and was told that I could go home. I didn't feel right at all was very scared for I didn't know what was going on. so as Mike and I left the building my hand starts to pour out blood, We went back in I showed to the women at the front desk they pointed me to go down the hall wouldn't even give me a tissue, Please How ignorant was that! ! ! ! ! ! Got back to the Nuclear Med and this kind tech helped me out cleaned me all up put another bandage on , came to the conclusion that my sugar had bottomed out so she gave me some diet pepsi (?) and peanut butter crackers to bring it back up. Then changed the bandage again to put a tighter pressure bandage on to make sure the bleeding stopped, A DR walked by twice asking if I was alright thought that was great, to see the someone there besides the woman that was helping me had feelings. Before we left the Tech told Mike to get me something high in sugar and caffeine lie chocolate. We left got in car I was feeling so bad, we went to WaWa Mike got me a Large Dark Mocha Cappuccino Seemed to help a little. Made me a grilled cheese for dinner. Glad to see Monday the 23rd come to and end. Went to sleep with my heart racing way to fast.
So yes this is still going on with me not feeling right, heart racing, getting dizzy and a new one woke up with a serious bloody nose that seemed to bleed all day my blood was like water.
Well I hope to be back to writing more often especially with Memorial Day Weekend starting very soon
