Little House In The Woods: So Tomorrow Is Christmas Eve

I can't believe it!!
So what have I been doing since my last post? Well not really much kept trying to make it last a little longer till it was actually Christmas. I did write out many Christmas Cards, To friends, Team Members, Vets, and Family
This past Sunday we finally got the tree up, yes I said Up !!
Monday I sat there and stared at the tree for about 2 hours as I was enjoying my Vanilla Bean Coffee and wondering where shall I begin. Have to say it just doesn't feel like christmas with temps in the mid 50's, 60's and supposedly going to 75 on Christmas Eve and here I am doing my post and it should be sort of cold but, No it is 61 degrees out there ant it is almost 11:00p.m. Oh my.
well finally on Monday I decided to put myself in the mood what better music to listen to then TSO. Yes that is exactly what I did and played it loud the great thing about living in "THe Little House In The Woods" just put that surround sound on and enjoy all of the music. So I did and I danced and sang as I decorated the tree. It was nice to be by myself doing this I thoroughly enjoyed all.
Mike got home really like the tree allot. We ate dinner and enjoyed just looking at the tree. I knew that I still had allot of work ahead of me for I had a little tree we put outside the front door that needed to be decorated for it just would not be right to put a naked christmas Tree outside. I had the stairs to do in the poinsetias and Luminara Candles, then to do the fireplace and mantel Wrap all the presents make sure that I do make it back to the Italian Bakery they have the best cookies in the world.
My wonderful neighbor came over with a loaf of blueberry and a loaf of apple cinnamin breads, and a huge tray of assorted cookies all homemade from Lancaster PA. We already had Pizzeles, Other Italian Cookies. Tried to pay her but she would not take the money so I gave her a tray of Italian cookies that I did manage to pick up early Sunday while we were out. She called me and told me she really enjoyed them. Nice to put a smile on her face and in her heart.
So as all can see I'm really running behind on all. Here is a couple pictures of what I have accomplished to me it was allot especially the stairs then I changed them after this picture took the bows off and changed the poinsettias to red red white red red white etc.
I'm hoping to wrap the presents tonight and finish up all the cleaning tomorrow and the mantel then to relax wait for my last package to arrive through UPS then finally go to Midnight Mass
