Little House In The Woods: Ahh The Day Of Love Thank You Hallmark

Today is the Day we are to show our Spouses, significant others, Family members etc., Just how much we love them by buying cards, Chocolate, Flowers, Diamonds, Jewelry, especially the Diamond Heart Necklaces or Bracelets. Son;t Gorget those Strawberries Sipped in Chocolate. Moving on to a beautiful evening out for a Valentine Day Dinner. With many Hoping this day will be filled with Proposals of Marriage and a knock out Diamond Ring To go with it.
Don't get me wrong I have nothing against Valentines Day but, I do show my husband every day just how much I love him as I do my son. I don't have to buy expensive items to prove my love. Yes you read that right I do not believe in that. Perhaps just a card that would be fantastic and I don't mind going out to dinner but, I do know that if I go the night after the 14th the prices and food will be so much better, as it is with allot of Holidays that we go out for a special dinner on.
Flowers no they are not for me, they make me sneeze, chocolate not really. I remember one year a long time ago my husband now but was just dating then bought me a huge pink heart full of chocolates the kind that have all different fillings, that I as a child when my Mom would get a box of them I used to put my finger on the bottom to find out exactly what I was going to try before it went into my mouth, did the same with the huge Heart of candy Mike bought me but, no I did bot eat hardly any didn't like them at all felt bad but, Mike enjoyed eating them. He wasn't a diabetic back then.
This year well we are going to be going through the Arctic Blast and the temps and high winds are going to be brutal. We are thinking of getting a small little cake to celebrate Valentines Day and perhaps get some take out to bring home for out Valentines Dinner. If it were up to me TACO BELL would be just great, completely satisfying to me, Watch a good movie and lay back and relax enjoying each other's company. Perhaps even a nice bottle of wine. I do believe I put one in the fridge earlier yesterday. Planning ahead! Mike makes these awesome snacks Jalopenia Pepper cheese on rackers heats them up in the microwave, oh so delicious. Really doesn't take much to make me happy. To be truthful all I ever really would like to have in life is to be Happy and Loved and Cared for as I would do the Same for my mate.
There is always next week for going out to dinner and hopefully the weather will be allot better.
