Must say that December is not really starting off to good for me and another friend that I have. For on the 4th I ended up in the hospital, pressure on my chest, really difficult time breathing, so dizzy I was bouncing off the walls. Yes I did call my Primary DR Dr. Keith R. Damerau, I told his nurse every thing and she said she would give him the message right away. But he never called back. When Mike got home after he ate he thought that it was best to go to the hospital so off we went. Mike called Keith again to let him know that we were at the hospital but, again he never called him back so then he called my cardiologist, DR. George Mark, well Mike kind of caught him at a bad time for he was at a Christmas party but, yes he did talk to Mike and listened to everything that was going on with me so DR. Mark said well that is good you went to the hospital for it will be a new pair of eyes looking at her (me). Stayed over night for observasion, had the DR he was a Cardiologist and Pulmonary DR his name was DR. A. La Marte, he was trying to tell me that I had the wrong Aortic Heart Valve in me so he decided to do a much un needed Heart Echo and a Doppler I just had one this past APril but, he insisted. then he had my legs scanned looking for clots for they were so painful I couldn't walk. Then this DR calls in a Neurologist he has me get a CT scan of my head, but no results for they said that they would really need to do an MRI but can't do to my pacemaker. 2 mornings later in comes this hot shot DR A. La Marte and says to me it is now time for me to throw you out good bye, I called Mike and back to the "Little House In The Woods" we went. Left there with a heart rate of 130 and spinning as badly as I went in there. The nurse didn't want to discharge me for she knew something was wrong but the Hot Shot DR said she goes. Guess that is how you are treated if you don't have the right insurance the DR will get more money in his bank account.
Then I get a phone call from my Dearest Friend Cindy ( who I haven't seen since 2008) her Daughter telling me that Cooper Hospital called for her to come up to the hospital right away for her mother my dear friend was on life support. She went up there and decided to take her off of life support and in a matter of 5 minutes she passed. I knew Cindy got in with the wrong people but, I could not find her to help her. she always knew that the doors to my home were opened to her and that no matter what I was always there for her. It hurt so bad for she was such a classy lady and when she passed she was not that way at all as per her daughter. So they decided to cremate her. I feel so bad for my friend's Daughter, she has been through so much this month with her Mother in-law passing and on the same day of her Funeral she gets a call about her Mother that she was worried about, as to whether she was living on the streets or where she was, for no one knew and Cindy never called her daughter. My prayers are with her daughter, my friend Nicole and her family, for this sure is going to be a ver difficult Holiday Season for all of them, so much Heart Break.
Then I moved on to doing all my Christmas cards for my Platoon and the Candy Canes and Chocolate Chip cookies finally today they are all done packed up Custom Forms finished and will be mailed out very early this morning. I know except for all I did for the Platoon and the Soldiers I chose to write Christmas cards out to and mail to them to each soldier. What I do for our Troops keeps me very happy for it is a real pleasure and a very deep passion in my heart to do all that I do. Well Today 13th is mine and Mike's 29th Anniversary of when we first started dating. I feel this is the most important date for if it was not for December 13th 29 years ago, we would not have our Wedding Anniversary in August. Hope it will be a very wonderful day for us.
Happy Anniversary Mike I Love You. I Thank God For Blessing me with you every day for you are always at my side with all I have been through with my health. You are a hell of a great man.
