I am pondering on some very memorable things from 2014, and I would have to say that they would all be with my Son for my Birthday and having him and his friend here at "The Little House In The Woods" for Christmas.
He made my Birthday so special taking me to my favorite restaurant Cotardos and then gave me the most beautiful Breast Cancer Bracelet, with very beautiful charms on them with plenty of room to add more to remember the special moments throughout my life. We drank the Wine that night, ate an out of this world delicious meal, they all sang Happy Birthday with the Owners of the Restaurant to me, then I made a wish and blew out the candles, the cake was cut that too was very good.
Yes they were loving memories I will never forget for I must say my son can honestly show me his love at times.
Christmas was another great memory, I made home mad Mac & Cheese with six different cheeses that my son and his friend just loves so much. Even though I was not really up to it for there is allot of work involved I also knew that it was for my son. We also ordered a Heavenly Ham, but, just had to warm that up along with the Sweet potato casserole, apples and honey , then on to making my favorite cranberry sauce. We opened our presents that we all exchanged and we were all so happy for it was exactly what everyone wanted except for me, it turned out that Sam my son accidentally got the new Boucheron Parfume so he had the gift receipt and well you can take it from there.
It was such a beautiful, Special, Blessed Christmas, with so many laughs. My son had me laughing so hard that my stomach was hurting so bad, Same said to me "Mom I've not seen you laugh in years it made me feel so good to see and hear you laugh again" brought tears to eyes for I knew he was right but I was so glad that he was the one to make me laugh and feel happiness again.
I am sure there are other memories but nothing as wonderful as these two memories that will be safely forever in my heart, to take out once in a while to bring a laugh or a smile to me!
I will have to say that 2014 was not that great of a year for me and I am praying that 2015 will be a year of Health, Happiness, Love and Peace for me and The "Little House In The Woods" Also to everyone I know and all of whom I Love and care about.
