Such A Sad Day In Moore OK on May 20, 2013

Monday, It started out as any other day, clear skies, the sun brightly shining, taking their children to school, Day Care, going to work themselves, perhaps just cleaning the house or perhaps being out with a friend or two enjoying the day.  Then the skies darkened the  Warning Alarms went off all was notified that a Tornado was on its way.  It was huge, it stayed on the ground for 40 - 50 minutes taking almost everything that was in its path with it.  Classified as an EF5, one of the most powerful Tonado ever with winds gusting to well over 200mph.  They also suffered in 1999 a tornado almost taking practically the same course.
At first they announced that 51 people were killed, then 91 people today thankfully it was announced that 24 people were killed  with 9 of them being children.  One school that was not so secure an older school is what most people were concerned about.  You could hear stories from the children of how the wall just fell upon them.  There was also a teacher that threw herself on top of several children making sure they didn't get hurt as she told one child "No one Is Going To Die Today" and she kept her word  to those children.  It saddens me for Moore to have lost 24 people but even saddens me more that 9 of them were children, for they had their entire lives ahead of them yet.
Moore was thrown all over the place.  I have to say after watching allot of this sisaster going on while watching it all on TV, that the people in OK are some very strong people and yes the will rebuild Moore OK.
They still have some search and rescue going on, and they had allot of people being treated in the hospital for broken limbs, head wounds, and so much more.
This is a small Strong Town that believed in all staying together and being there for each other.
Even had people come there to help with all of the destruction, that did not live or was from OK. This one young Gentleman was asked"why are you here if you are not from Moore"  He replied "Because I am an American"   This Statement I will never forget and will remain in my heart forever.
