Today is Valentines Day, the day of Love and Romance. May your Day be filled with so much love, Enjoyment, Beautiful Cards, lovely Roses, Heart Shaped Box Full of Chocolates, Spectacular Chocolate Covered Strawberries with Champaign of course. and a Very Special Romantic Dinner for two, at a very Quaint Restaurant filled with Ambiance.
Oh what a beautiful dream that just was, some may really have it come true for them other's not so. I do Sincerely feel that for me just to be with My Very Loving and Caring husband Mike, knowing that we do love each other so Deeply that is good enough for us. I do not get along with Roses, and I do not like Chocolate Candy, and I can make a Fantastic Romantic Dinner for two filled with Ambiance right here in the "Little House In The Woods".
Oh yes I am cooking a great dinner tonight, including desert. I am making Sesame-Ginger Turkey Breasts baked with whole fresh cranberries and anOrange Glaze, Red Bless Potatoes. For desert a Three Layer Dark Chocolate Cake, topped with Raspberries that were soaked in Champaign to make a delicious sauce to top off the Chocolate Chip Icing. Ummm, what a great Evening this shall all be. How Surprised Mike will be, to come home this evening to an Unexpected Home Cooked Dinner. "Surprise Mike." Never gave him a Clue that I was doing this for us.
Yes we did exchange cards at 3:00a.m. today, and I did get him some sugar free chocolates for you have to remember he is a diabetic, so I got him Sugar Free Chocolate covered raspberries and Sugar Free Chocolate Covered Pretzels, quite large ones at that, also a CD Set that he wanted, and last but not least Shiloh and I got him 2 boxes of GS Peanut Butter Cookies, his favorite. Mike did get me a Sterling Silver Bracelet very beautiful to start a new Pandora Charm Bracelet, of which he also picked out and bought 4 Sterling Silver Pandora Charms to start it with, one of course being a Penguin, a Teddy Bear, Some Bling as Mike called it, and one other that has a beautiful Antique design on it for it is also the stopper so I do not loose the beads and charms. what a wonderful surprise, can not wait to start this one he also gave to me a bag of Candy Conversation Hearts from Hallmark. I have not received them in years. I have given them to Platoons in Valentine Campaigns, never ever opened a box for my self though.
I really do believe that we shall have a very Romantic evening just the two of us and oh yes of course Shiloh, for I bought her a doggy Valentine Heart Cookie from the Vet.
Yes tonight shall be very special for us with out even leaving the "Little House In The Woods" to go to an over crowded restaurant paying for over priced dinners, and putting up with SO SO service and it being very loud there, Nope rather be in our quiet home.
I Sincerely Wish A Very Happy Valentines Day to All whether you have some one Special or not, it is Valentines Day and No One Should Ever Be Forgotten.
Our Valentines day did turn out to be Such a Wonderful Evening. How surprised Mike was when he walked in the door, to the Aroma of all that I had cooked and baked all day. How we enjoyed the dinner and desert so very much. It was definitely a night that l can say I Love Us. Yes this evening brought US even Closer than we already were, if that is really possible. For after being together for 25 years and all that we have been through you grow very close and that makes it even more as I love US rather than just I Love You.
