Oh yes I am smiling away big as I can for the sun is Shinning and Nascar is Running
Yes today is the Daytona 500, Opening day of NASCAR. What a wonderful day this is.
We in the "Little House Inn The Woods" are so very happy that it is NASCAR TIME again.
Today is also a day to Remember Dale Ernhart SR who while racing got into a cras ten years ago and went home to the Giant Racing Track In the Heavens. They did a Memorial Service at the race for him. So now Bogody bogody Bogody Bogody Let's Go Racing Folks.
Yes this is my favorite time of the year for it is Racing Time. Mark Martin is looking pretty good today. How ever there is one bad thing about todays race allot of crashes, have to expect that though. well have to go back to finish watching the race but I'll be back with the winner.
Well after allot of accidents practically right down to the finish, and about 16 cautions, Twenty Year old Trevor Baynes won the Daytona 50o, with Mark Martin coming in Tenth position. Hey there is always next week in AK. The other disappointment of the race was Dale Ernhart JR. for he gave it his best, until the last crash just about before the end of the race, when someone ran into him making him go into the wall and the bounce off of that and he was towed off the track, then checked out medically he was alright. How Thankful we all were for that.
WOW I have to say that to see a 20 year old young man, Win this Big Race , it sure was Amazing to allot of people.
Have to say that it was a great race, and looking forward to next week's
After NASCAR Mike and I met my Sister and Brother in-Law at the PUB for dinner. It was such a pleasant time for us. I enjoyed so much to see my sister when I can. For her and I had the broiled salmon, oh it was just perfect for me I know and I believe that she enjoyed hers just as much. Mike had a half a rack of ribs, and S.S. had Blackened Talopia, no complaints from any of us. When ever the four of us go there it always seems to be the greatest night out for dinner to me, for it just has the right atmosphere, fantastic service, great food. We are always treated so politely there, those points I just mentioned are important to me when I go out to eat. The best of all was the great company that we were having dinner with my Sister and her husband S.S.. The only strange thing about the evening was when my Sister asked me if I have talked to my Son, don't know why she would bring him up, for I don't even see him at all. That will definitely keep me Wondering for quite some time now.
Thank you so much D.S. and S. S. we had such an extremely nice time and it was really great to see you both again.
I look forward to us taking them to dinner in about six weeks, and hopefully it will be the PUB, for I have not been able to go to an other restaurant than the PUB that makes the Salmon that I order perfect as they do. Never any complaints when you go to the PUB
Well that it is it really didn't do much Saturday except Mike took me out and bought me a new charm for my Pandora Bracelet, still have allot of room on it to fill up, all in good time for that though. The later in the evening we watched the movie Bedtime Stories with Adam Sandler. All I can say about that movie is the rabbit was adorable and it must have been a real bedtime story for it put me to sleep all the way till about 20 minutes before it ended when I woke up just in time to see the ending. Should have passed on that one.
Hope all had a Fabulous Weekend as we did and perhaps saw a much Better Movie then We watched.
