Fantastic Weekend

We started our weekend, Friday night watching the movie Bicentennial Man. It was terrific NOPE we never saw it before. Had a nice Merlot with some snacks, for we had no idea what to have for dinner, neither one of us was very hungry.

On Saturday, Mike got home from his meeting we went out. What a wonderful day it was, perfect in every way. We went down to the Flea Market and did allot of walking there. Could not believe all the Christmas decorations that was being sold. We have not even gotten around to or thought of Thanks Giving yet. Oh of course Mike bought 5 albums.

Next we went to the Baked Pretzel Cafe for lunch. Mike bought 2 of these, WHY I have no idea, for I can only eat about a half of one and course he got 2 diet stewart root beers, so I ate almost a half of one and yes Mike ate the rest of mine and all of his. Just goes to show you "Mikey will Eat it, Mikey Likes Everything." Then allot more walking of course stopping at the Amish Bakery there to buy some Cinnamon Raisin Wheat Bread, oh how wonderful it is. I bought a Sugar Free Banana Bread for Mike, then to the the Apple Cider Amish Donut shoppe, bought a bag of Boo Boo donuts they were for me and me only. I think we walked for almost 3 hours, there is so much to see there well sort of if you are an avid record collector like Mike. They had some very nice things there, but I did not need a brand new living room set or really any new furniture at all, even though some of it was extremely beautiful. Finally time to go home take a break and perhaps go out to the Chinese Restaurant for dinner. Out to dinner never happened for the both of us fell asleep. I had cup of soup and Mike had a salad and a piece of banana bread for our dinners. Watched some TV then it was GOOD NIGHT time for us.

On Sunday it was RAKE the LEAVES Time. Mike did a majority of that work while I swept off the cement around the house, driveway and sidewalks. We came in I made myself some pumpkin spice Carmel Apple coffee and Mike made himself lunch. Went food shopping to get some "odds and ends" as Mike calls it, I call it "a "waist of time and money". So back to the "Little House In The Woods" had roasted chicken and of course some veggies, while watching the Bears game, of which they won and then NASCAR too.

Well I must say it was such a great weekend could not have asked for better weather if we ordered it ourselves.

Ooops, I forgot I also went out and bought a Dooney and Bourke Pocket Book, her I will show it to you. My Mother in-Law gave me money for my B-Day , just did not know what I wanted till I saw this pocketbook. Thanks Mom I love this pink leather pocketbook.
