My day today was one of the worse days ever if not the worse that any day could ever be. I woke up in a great mood, had my coffee Tropical Coconut with Shiloh, out on the sun porch, just watching the deer and their babies. Then came in wrote out 7 more letters to some soldiers, mailed them, washed all the drapes and curtains in the house, Then well here comes the part I should have just not even thought of doing. I decided make a spinach and cream cheese kugel, and an Apple Cinnamon one also. Well the recipe called for what I thought I read as 4 cups of noodles for each one , that is 8 ounces right, so each bag only had 12 ounces so I thought that I would need 32 ounces of noodles for each one. HA HA on me, for if I would have had my glasses on I would have seen that it said 4 cups of Cooked noodles, BIG DIFFERENCE. So I made a very large roaster pan for the spinach kugel, which as I was pouring it into the pan I pored it on top of the recipe, so out came all that I put in there to get the recipe oh what a mwss allot ended up on the counters, me, the floor you name it. Finally I get it all in the roaster pan put it in the oven to bake it, then I start on the Apple Cinnamon kugel, I once again screwed up thought it said 5 cups of chopped apples, nope it said one, but with all the noodles that I had I am glad that I used 5 cups of chopped apples and I thought it read 1 and a half cups of golden raisins Nope it was a half a cup but that was O K for remember I had allot more noodles then I needed. Then I added the eggs and the butter and splenda, why splenda well that is because Mike is a Diabetic. Then I took two more apples out sliced them down thin to decorate the tops of the 2 kugels, yes you read that right, I ended up making 2 of them. Because I made too many noodles. So as I was putting the kugel into the the two very large pans the phone rang and here I go again making another humongous mess and yes it really was every where. It sure was not a very good time to try and Multitask, but I did, to answer the phone all for a hang up phone call. Finally got that all into the pans decorated each one with the thin apple slices and put them into the oven. Now moving on to making the Caribbean Jerk Chicken,. Guess what all went well there put it in the oven shut the oven door. Phew am I ever glad that I have such a large oven. Then looked at the huge mess. Cleaned all that up mopped the floors, cleaned the counters, cabinets, and front of stove, dishwasher, fridge, you name it I managed to dirty it. But I really did a good job on cleaning it all up. Then ran the dishwasher from all of the cups, bowls, pans etc, that I used. Finally poured myself a tall glass of iced tea and went out in the sun room with Shiloh, Oh she slept by the fireplace while this entire disaster that I was making was going on. Then I let her run around out back then we came in and I hung the drapes and curtains, NO I did not forget about them. Took a bath washed my hair for honestly I had what ever I was cooking all over me. Oh yes and two cut thumbs from the apple corer/slicer, never thought they would stop bleeding. Then Mike came home and we sat down for dinner I took all out of the oven set the table put all the kugels, and chicken and bread I made on the table then we went to sit down to eat, I had a glass of iced tea in my hand and I swear my hand to GOD it felt like someone took that glass out of my hand and just poured it all over me and the carpet and the dinning room chair. Mike I think went into shock I started to cry for we have very light colored carpet and white dinning room chairs and yes the iced tea was on everything and I do mean everything, including me. So down on my hand and knees, sort of getting used to this today after all that I put myself through cooking and making a mess, and I blotted the carpet then got the resolve out to spray it on so the carpets and chair would not stain. By this time Mike had drank a half a bottle of wine. Then once again I had to wash up and change my clothes, for they were all wet with Iced tea. Finally we sat down and ate, everything came out great. I was so surprised after all I went through today to make dinner. Oh Mike and I laughed about all that I went through for as I was telling him he could not stop laughing, and I started crying then laughing, Oh what a day it was for me. Mike and I later on went into the sunroom for it was so cool in there and had some coffee and a piece of apple cake and just relaxed, and laughed even more about my horrible day. Then Mike took Shiloh for a walk I cleaned off the dinning room table cleaned everything up ran the dishwasher. Put a little more Resolve carpet cleaner on the rug and the dinning room chair, it actually as of right now looks like nothing happened and tomorrow I will vacuum it all and I believe it will all look as good as new again. This evening, will always be some sort of funny memories for Mike and I to look back upon and have a good laugh. Oh what A Day I Had and Went Through. To all that might have read this and had a really Big Laugh at my expense I bow to you and look forward to your applause . I look back now as I type this, and I am sitting here, I find myself smiling but also having tears coming down my face. Starting to feel allot of pain through out my body for preparing all took so very much time. To tell you the truth it was worth it. Hey look at it this way, I made so much that I do not have to cook at all the rest of the week for that is what the microwave is for. Thank you to whom ever invented the MICROWAVE.

Oh yes it would have been the greatest thing to enter into the Funniest Videos Contest, for I am sure I would have taken TOP PRIZE.
