Arrival Of September

Good Morning September, it is so very pleasant to see your arrival today, full of bright sunny skies, a little hot, but not humid. I hear that you might perhaps be bringing a little bit of the remnants of Hurricane Earl with you, for acouple days. Which would mean plenty of rain, but oh do we ever need that, and also some strong winds, we do not need that, for I have so many trees, could be a little dangerous from any high winds. Then you will be the beautiful month that we all look forward to.

I will be so glad to sort of say good bye to summer as we celebrate Labor Day, which means either being at the shore or having a great cook out with our friends here in the Little House In The Woods. we will be having the big Bar-B-Q with friends. We all get together everyone brings something they made or new for all to try out. We really do have allot of fun. Oh yes we do remember all of our soldiers that are protecting all of us every day, 24 hours a day. Say a little prayer for them and their families, while lighting a candle at Noon. We remember all the sacrifices they have made for our Nation to be safe.

Oh yes what is a Holiday such as this one without a Labor Day Cake. Yes that will be on the menu too. The rest that will be on the menu has to be a surprise on our behalf for we never let anyone know until the day of the Bar-B-Q. Find it to be so much fun and very mystical that way.

We have 2 Jewish Holidays this month and 2 Birthdays also. With Labor Day, then the Jewish High Holidays, 911, the Birthdays, yes it will be an eventful month. I most certainly do hope all is as HAPPY as I am that September is here, for that is a great sign that Autumn is right around the corner with the Fall foliage.
